This course represents the first Profibus & Profinet International-certified training course in Canada – the organization only has certified 22 other training centers worldwide. Currently the closest PROFIBUS-certified training center for Canadians is located in Johnson City, Tennessee, U.S.A. Distributors and salespeople from across Canada will now be able to save on travel costs by completing their certification at Siemens’ state-of-the-art training facility located in Peterborough. The Training Center has a spacious training room with each station fully equipped for exploring the finer points of PROFIBUS PA. “The Siemens Peterborough training facility is a first-rate operation,” says John Swindall, Auditor for Profibus & Profinet International. “The PA training can provide a ‘jump-start’ to your level of PROFIBUS PA experience without the pain of having to survive the ‘been there, done that’ phase of learning a new fieldbus.”
